Yes! Heat plays a powerful role in healing your body and mind so we incorporate it into all our class styles. (It’s actually one of our core values!)

Hot enough to make it easy to move without injury and get the health benefits (like heat shock proteins), but not at all like a sauna. We’re not trying to be coy, I swear! We regulate the “heat” in our classes based on the relative humidity, the season, the number of people in a class, and the rigor of the modality. That’s why we can’t give you a straight answer on temperature; we’re always adapting in the moment to the class right in front of us, so it’s not a fixed number. A rigorous vinyasa class will be cooler in temp than a slow yin class, but in the room it will “feel” about the same.

Absolutely. Our instructors meet you where you’re at, whether you’re a seasoned exercise enthusiast or haven’t sweat since high school PE class. In fact, it’s one of the things we take pride in— making our classes both accessible and challenging, so you can make the most out of the time you have for movement regardless of where you’re at in your relationship with exercise. Our classes all compliment one other so you can find the perfect balance of strength, flexibility, fitness, and mobility to move you toward YOUR personal goals.

You’ll need a yoga mat and a bottle of water. Wear light, athletic clothing that’s easy to move in. Some folks prefer a towel over their mat, but that’s your call.
Missing some equipment? No worries! Anything you need for class is available for rent or purchase at the studio. -
We think we’ve got the best shop around! We have over two decades of testing behind our curated collection of equipment, accessories, and clothing in the Blaze Boutique. We only sell the products we actually use from companies who share the same values of sustainability, social responsibility, and ethical sourcing that we do.

If you’ve got clearance from your medical team, we can help! All of our classes are scalable and we have lots of equipment to help modify the poses or exercises as needed. The first step in our programming process would be to sign up for a Kinstretch class to get an assessment of where you’re at right now and what you can do with your healing body. After that, our talented staff can help you design a program that helps you on your way to feeling your best as you recover.

Yes. We are committed to removing barriers to entry for traditionally under-represented populations in the field of yoga and fitness. Our whole facility was built for accessibility including our changing rooms and showers and our staff regularly participate in professional development to help them diversify their programming to make it evermore accessible to more members of our community.

We do! We have both changing rooms and showers so you can rinse off after class and head on your merry way.
