200-Hour Blaze Movement Specialist Certification: A hybrid program for those ready to dive deep, blending in-person and online learning. Blaze Movement Specialist

When you become a Movement Specialist Instructor, you’ll build a strong foundation in our four pillars of movement: yoga, mobility, fitness, and strength training. We believe learning the science behind all modalities makes you better at the one you love to lead.

A yoga teacher who understands how we build strength becomes a better yoga teacher. A strength coach who understands how to gain range of motion will help their clients build bigger muscles. Becoming a Blaze Movement Specialist involves learning the why behind human movement so you can become a transformational leader in you field.

Together, we have the power to help people live long, happy, active, and productive lives and reduce decades of suffering and poor health.

We Create Lifelong Learners

Many training programs are designed to teach you a “system’. At Blaze, we’re not interested in creating robots who repeat random alignment cues by rote. We’re dedicated to helping you understand how the modalities we use impact both brain and body so you can make educated choices in your classes and programming.

We help to demystify scientific language, teach how to decode and scrutinize studies, and encourage our trainees to question norms so together we can move the field forward and help more people achieve better health and more happiness.

We Make the Best Use of Your Time

We know life demands a lot of you That’s why we offer a course that gives you the hands-on training you crave and the flexibility of working around your busy schedule. Weekend programs pack the most we can into every minute you’re here with us so you leave with a head full of information and a body that’s already practiced instructing and is ready for more.

Our 200-hour program includes both in-person weekends and virtual learning so you can work your training program around work, family, hobbies, and friends.

Every minute you spend with us will be packed with essential information to help you be the best instructor possible.

We Challenge Fitness Norms

We believe in movement as medicine. Our programs are designed, first and foremost, to help people feel better.  We are not focused on “getting fit” (although that is always a bonus of our classes). Instead, our goal is to improve the quality of life of our students, helping them eliminate chronic pain, improve debilitating health conditions, and improve overall well-being - physically and mentally.

We don’t teach approaches or build classes just because that’s how it’s always been done. Instead we ask, “Is this the most effective tool for the the outcome we want for our clients?” and then have the courage to present what works, not just what’s common.

By becoming an instructor with the Blaze Instructor Development programs, you can help improve the mobility and strength of others who want to feel their best and make the most of their time in this life.
