Khalil Crawford
200-hour Blaze Movement Specialist
You’d never know it from watching him play sports, but Khalil was born with a club foot. He wore leg braces and casts and underwent two unsuccessful surgeries, including one that had him in a wheelchair at the age of four that left him with one foot two sizes smaller than the other and limited mobility in his left foot and ankle.
Determined to move, Khalil had to learn how to compensate and work with the body he had been given whether he was a 15-month old in a cast or a 23-year old joining an indoor soccer league. He has spent his life researching and trying to find ways to improve his body despite living with a limiting and often painful physical disability. He brings this drive for knowledge and perseverance to every class he leads and hopes to help others find the same hope and personal triumph that he does on the mat at Blaze.
